🎭 Special Performance by Tri-Cities Opera
The highlight of this year’s event is a child-friendly performance of The Three Bears by the Tri-Cities Opera. Forget what you think you know about this classic fairy tale—this reimagined sequel explores the forest from a new perspective.
Follow Goldilocks, a lonely girl searching for a place to belong, as she encounters three bears who aren't too thrilled about their uninvited guest! This interactive performance tackles big themes like compassion, safety, and belonging in a way that is engaging and imaginative for all ages.

📚 Fun in the Museum and Story Garden
Celebrate reading from 10:00AM – 2:00PM with a variety of hands-on activities:
- 🎨 Crafts & Activities: Hosted by the Four County Library System and other local community organizations.
- 📖 The Book Exchange: Bring a book, take a book! It’s the perfect time to refresh your bedtime story collection.
- 🏠 The Three Bears' House: Be sure to visit the actual Three Bears' House located in the Story Garden to play along with the story!

In the spirit of celebrating literacy, admission to BookFest is FREE if you present your library card!
