Looking for a way to beat the winter blues? Animal Adventure Park has just announced its brand-new Indoor Zoo Experience, and the Grand Opening is officially set for Saturday, January 24th!
Located in the massive barn at the Preserve Safari (42 Pease Rd, Harpursville), this newly redesigned space is built to keep the adventure going all year round. Teams have been working hard for the last four months to create a climate-controlled, family-friendly space for winter fun.
What’s Waiting for You Inside?
This isn’t just a quick walk-through - it’s a fully interactive experience! Whether your kids love the big animals or the small ones, there is something for everyone:
- Meet Over 3 Dozen Species: See, feed, and interact with favorites like giraffes, rhinos, sloths, capybaras, and kangaroos.
- The Lorikeet Aviary: Step inside for a colorful encounter with these friendly birds.
- More Than Just Animals: Dig for treasures at the Gem Mining station, browse the gift shop, or book the brand-new venue for a winter birthday party!

- Grand Opening: Saturday, January 24, 2026
- Hours: Thursday through Sunday, 10:00am – 4:00pm (also open on school holidays).
- Cost: $14.05 per person (includes tax). Kids ages 3 and under are FREE!
- Reservations: Required! You must book your time slot in advance at AAPevents.com.
Note for Members: This is a unique, off-season opportunity outside of standard operations. Memberships for the Animal Adventure Walk-thru Zoo and The Preserve Safari Park do not apply to the Indoor Zoo.
